What the Zoom integration does
Zoom is an optional integration for authenticated UNITIX Soft CRM users. After a user authorizes their own Zoom account, UNITIX Soft CRM creates a Zoom meeting for a booking, updates that same meeting when the schedule changes, and deletes the corresponding Zoom meeting when the booking is cancelled.
Permissions
| Scope | Purpose |
|---|---|
meeting:write:meeting | Create a meeting owned by the authorized user. |
meeting:update:meeting | Update that meeting after CRM schedule changes. |
meeting:delete:meeting | Delete that meeting after cancellation. |
user:read:user | Read the user's basic profile so the connected account can be identified. |
UNITIX Soft CRM does not request account-admin, recording, webinar, chat, or contact scopes.
Connect, create, update, and delete
- Sign in to UNITIX Soft CRM and open Bookings → Settings.
- Select Connect on Zoom, review the permissions, and authorize your Zoom account.
- Select Zoom as a booking page or CRM meeting provider.
- A confirmed booking creates one Zoom meeting and participant join URL.
- Rescheduling updates the same meeting; cancelling deletes that meeting.
- If authorization expires, is revoked, or the card says Reconnect required, reconnect before creating another Zoom meeting.
Legacy connections remain active during the security update and are never reauthorized automatically. Reconnecting records the Zoom user and account identifiers needed to match a future Marketplace removal safely.
Data accessed and stored
UNITIX Soft CRM accesses the authorized Zoom user's ID, account ID, email, OAuth scopes and token data, and the meetings it creates or manages. Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and never sent to the browser. The CRM stores the connected identifiers, email, scopes, token expiry, meeting ID, participant join URL, schedule details, and synchronization status. It does not store Zoom host start_url values or ZAK tokens and does not access recordings, audio, video, or chat.
Disconnect and remove
In Bookings → Settings, select Zoom Disconnect. UNITIX Soft CRM asks Zoom to revoke the authorization and deletes the local encrypted OAuth connection only after Zoom confirms success or reports that the token was already revoked. If Zoom or the network is temporarily unavailable, the connection is preserved so the user can retry. Existing CRM bookings and existing Zoom meetings are not automatically deleted solely by disconnecting.
Removing UNITIX Soft CRM from Zoom App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps sends a signed deauthorization notification. After verification, UNITIX Soft CRM removes the matching user's local Zoom authorization. Reconnect at any time through Booking Settings. For additional deletion, email support@unitixsoft.pro.
Support
Email support@unitixsoft.pro with the test step, time and visible error. Never send passwords, client secrets, OAuth tokens, host start URLs, ZAK values, or meeting passcodes.
